Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality grilled dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts to showcase their expertise and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences. The successful applicant will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure all dishes meet our standards for taste, presentation, and food safety.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes according to recipes and customer preferences
Ensure all food is prepared efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the grill station in accordance with food safety regulations
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results
Assist in meal preparation for service, including marinating, seasoning, and garnishing dishes
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to uphold hygiene standards within the kitchen
Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service during busy periods
Manage stock levels of ingredients specific to grilling operations and notify management of shortages

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Previous experience working with grills or barbecues is highly desirable
Good organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Culinary experience demonstrating proficiency in meal preparation and presentation
Knowledge of restaurant operations, including serving procedures, is advantageous

Pay: £2,800.00-£3,200.00 per month
