Job Summary

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team covering the North East of England & Yorkshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, maintenance, and repair services for our clients’ fitness equipment in their own homes.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring customer satisfaction through prompt and efficient service. The position requires travel to various client locations and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.

Responsibilities

Install, commission, and maintain fitness equipment at client sites in accordance with company standards.
Diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently, minimising downtime for clients.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal operation of systems.
Provide technical support and training to clients on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
Prepare detailed service reports, documenting work carried out, parts used, and recommendations for future improvements.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all field activities.
Maintain a high level of product knowledge through ongoing training programmes.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of electrical & mechanical systems relevant to our products.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically under pressure.
Good communication skills, capable of explaining technical information clearly to clients.
Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; willingness to travel extensively.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of service delivery.

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
