As a Grill Chef at Hawksmoor, you’ll take ownership of the most iconic part of our kitchen. Cooking over charcoal and working with exceptional, grass-fed beef, you’ll deliver perfectly cooked steaks with precision, confidence and pride. This is a hands-on role at the heart of service, where consistency and timing matter just as much as technical skill.

What You’ll Do

Cook steaks and grill items to Hawksmoor standards
Manage your section with precision during busy services
Control timing, temperature and consistency on the grill
Maintain high standards of food safety, organisation and cleanliness
Work closely with the pass and wider kitchen team to ensure seamless service
Support junior chefs working within your section

Experienced working with fresh food in a quality kitchen
Confident cooking meat and managing high-pressure service
Calm, organised and detail-focused
A team player who communicates clearly and works collaboratively
Passionate about quality produce and open-fire cooking
Eager to develop your craft and grow within a professional kitchen
