Main Purpose of Role

It is Nottinghamshire Police's vision to reduce the number of people killed and seriously injured on our roads and reduce the number of collisions. Nottinghamshire Police recognise the biggest factor in positively altering driver behaviour is through education. Nottinghamshire Police are a course provider for the National Driver Offending Courses (NDORS) which assists the Force in meeting its strategic aims of reducing both fatal and serious injury road traffic collisions.

The role holder will be responsible for delivering NDORS National Speed Awareness Courses, and other courses (Motorway, What's Driving Us) to people that have enrolled on a course as an alternative to prosecution. The candidate will be required to travel to various local venues to deliver face-to-face classroom courses with another trainer, as well as undertake the delivery of on-line versions of the same courses from their home address as a single trainer.

The role holder will be required to have a space at home where they can deliver online courses uninterrupted and will benefit from a working from home contract.
