The Social Care Connect Team and the Older People and Physical Disability Team are each looking for a permanent senior social worker to join our busy team. We work with individuals aged eighteen plus, this means that our work is varied and changeable and cover individuals with a variety of different needs. The position are full time working over 5 days a week.

The right candidates will be someone who has a social work degree and who are registered with Social Work England. They will be a strong team player, resilient and solution focused with a proactive approach to work as part of a busy Social Work Team. They will have experience of completing social work supervision, have Practice Educators Award or Best Intertest Assessor qualifications or be willing to work towards them.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated and will to undertake Care Act Assessments, support/care planning and commission services with person centred outcomes. They will provide be able to provide social work supervision and have experience of social work management. They will be able to travel throughout North Lincolnshire independently as we cover all of the North Lincolnshire area. Knowledge of adult social care legislation and frameworks are essential.

You will need to demonstrate an ability to problem solve and good negotiation skills, along with effective communication, organisational and IT skills. You will need to be flexible, resilient and dedicated to team work.

Please note that this is a Grade 9/10 career graded job role, and there are separate job descriptions for each grade. Recruitment decisions, in respect of which grade to appoint on, will be made based on criteria being met through both the shortlisting and interview process. Where appointments are made at a Grade 9, there is an internal progression framework to support progression to the Grade 10 role.
