About Fortem International
Fortem International is one of the world's leading independent organisers of trade exhibitions. Our Bristol team manages the sale of sponsorship and exhibition space across an international portfolio of B2B events. This is a performance-driven sales role suited to candidates who are motivated by clear targets and rewarded for results.

The role
The Event Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business through outbound, consultative selling. The majority of the role involves contacting businesses both nationally and internationally by telephone and email to sell exhibition stands and sponsorship packages, working to defined daily and monthly targets from our Bristol office. Commission is uncapped and directly reflects individual sales performance.

Key responsibilities

Generating new business through outbound calls, email and professional networking
Selling exhibition stands and high-value sponsorship packages to national and international clients
Managing a personal sales pipeline through our CRM and working to agreed targets
Developing long-term relationships with returning exhibitors and sponsors
Attending and representing the company at live events in the UK, USA and Europe

Essential requirements

A minimum of 12 months' B2B or telephone-based sales experience, with a demonstrable record of meeting or exceeding targets
Confidence and consistency in conducting a high volume of outbound sales calls
Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
A self-motivated, organised approach to managing a sales pipeline
The ability to work on-site at our Bristol office full-time (this is not a remote or hybrid position)
The right to work in the UK; we are unable to offer visa sponsorship
Educated to A-level standard or equivalent (a degree is not required)

What we offer

Basic salary from £30,000, dependent on experience
Uncapped commission, with a realistic on-target earnings of £60,000–£100,000+ for strong performers
