Estimator / Office Assistant

Western Sign Systems – Westbury, Wiltshire

Full Time | Permanent
Salary: National Minimum Wage (dependent on age)
Hours: 40 hours per week + optional overtime

About Us

Western Sign Systems is a well-established signage manufacturer based in Westbury. We produce a wide range of signage, from small interior signs to large illuminated monoliths over 4 metres high. We work with a variety of clients and pride ourselves on quality, reliability, and a hands-on approach.

The Role

We are looking for a dependable and organised individual to join our team as an Estimator / Office Assistant. This is a varied position combining customer communication, quoting, and general office administration.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of desk-based work and being involved in the day-to-day running of a busy manufacturing business.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing and sending customer quotes
Answering incoming calls and handling enquiries
General office administration (emails, filing, data entry)
Assisting with order processing and job tracking
Supporting the wider team with daily operations

Requirements

Good attention to detail
Basic maths skills (essential for pricing and estimating)
Strong organisational skills
Confident and professional telephone manner
Ability to follow instructions accurately
Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, etc.)

Previous experience in an office, admin, or estimating role is beneficial but not essential.
