Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Waitress to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards of food safety.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company recipes and standards.
Take customer orders accurately, ensuring prompt and friendly service.
Serve food items such as pastries, sandwiches, or light snacks with professionalism and efficiency.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including cleaning equipment and organising supplies.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a courteous manner and addressing any queries or concerns.
Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
Assist in maintaining the overall presentation of the café or restaurant area.
All training will be provided

Qualifications

Previous experience as a barista or waitress is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanour.
Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer interaction.
Organised with good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced environment, eager to learn new skills, and committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene and service quality.
