Full job description

Core Facility Services are looking for a reliable, hardworking & experienced caretaker to manage the maintenance, security and cleanliness of a portfolio of buildings.

Properties will include any buildings owned/managed by Core Facility Services, Orchard First Fruits or the directors of these businesses, including domestic properties. As a small business, properties will be added/removed from portfolio and could be located anywhere across the UK.

It is essential that the candidates have a full clean driving license as they will be required to travel between locations.

The ideal candidate will already hold or have experience within a similar position. The successful applicant will be proactive, customer-focused, honest, and committed to ensure property maintenance is delivered to the highest standard.

Responsibilities:

Offices

- Grounds Maintenance

- Painting/Decorating

- Weekly building checks including fire alarm testing, emergency light testing etc.

- Preparing offices for new tenants

- Some heavy lifting

- Manual labour

- Plan and organise the detail of estates jobs as necessary.

- Provide hands on support of customer needs and demands as needed

- Deal with client queries as and when required. Monitor and keep on top of these to ensure these are assigned and completed without delay.

- Providing cover for absence/holidays for our cleaning team

- Delivery of cleaning materials to customer sites

- Manage equipment and resources to ensure in satisfactory condition to complete services

- Responsible for taking/purchasing relevant equipment to sites

- Understand the health, safety, environmental & associated legal requirements that are relevant to our work and comply with these. Actively promote issues regarding health, safety & the environment

Other

- Participate in on-going training and development, regular performance reviews and monthly one to ones

- Adhere to the company and department standards, policies and procedures

- Apply company values in all day to day activities

- Adhere to the policies and procedures to attain and maintain the required competency level to perform the role and to promote a culture where customers are treated fairly, with openness and honesty

- Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by the company.

Work Remotely

Pay: Up to £24,784.50 per year
