Full job description

Peter Roberts Motorhomes are a family run business with over 25 years’ experience in the leisure industry and a reputation for providing excellent customer service.

Proud dealers for Adria, Autotrail, Bailey, Elddis and Rollerteam – we also maintain a varied range of quality pre-owned vehicles.

We are now looking to increase the capacity within our workshops and are therefore recruiting for a number of positions across our sites at Copley (HX3) and Honley (HD9)

MAIN DUTIES:

- Pre Delivery Inspections

- Habitation Checks

- Install appliances – awnings, solar panels, fridges, cookers, air conditioning etc.

- Inspect and repair electrics (12V/240V), plumbing, gas, heating and water system using diagnostic equipment to identify faults

- Woodworking & internal repairs

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Industry gas and electrical qualifications (preferred but not essential as we can offer a pathway to achieve these)

- We invest in our technicians and you will be encouraged to undertake several NCC Industry lead courses plus associated manufacturer training courses

- The ideal candidate will have prior experience within a motorhome workshop or manufacturer environment

- Full training will be provided for those from related industries looking to expand their career

- Full UK driving license required

SKILLS:

- Experience as a Motorhome Technician

- Strong diagnostic and repair skills in gas and electrical appliances

- Solid understanding of tools and test equipment

- Joinery skills an advantage

- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics

- Maintain accurate records and work efficiently within the team

- Follow health and safety procedures at at times

- Excellent communication skills

- Strong planning and organizational abilities, with attention to detail
