Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Children Package Nurse to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialised nursing care to paediatric patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care tailored to children’s needs.

Duties

Deliver comprehensive patient care to paediatric patients, including monitoring vital signs and assessing their condition
Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely, following established protocols
Assist with medical procedures and treatments specific to children, ensuring comfort and compliance
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations
Collaborate with doctors, parents, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans
Educate parents and guardians on medication administration, post-treatment care, and health maintenance strategies
Ensure the clinical environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards
Respond promptly to emergency situations involving paediatric patients

Skills

Proven experience in patient care within a paediatric setting
Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to children’s health conditions
Proficiency in medication administration with attention to detail and safety standards
Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with children, parents, and healthcare teams
Compassionate approach with the ability to provide emotional support to young patients and their families
Organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure

This role is vital in delivering specialised nursing services for children, requiring a caring demeanour combined with professional expertise. The position offers an enriching environment for those committed to making a positive difference in young patients’ lives.

This role is based throughout the UK and traveling will be required however we offer travel reimbursement

Pay: £35.00-£55.00 per hour

Work Location: On the road
