Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Baker to join our vibrant bakery team. You will be responsible for adding laminated pastry to our current lineup so this is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for a challenge and the opportunity to contribute to a growing bakery. This role involves preparing a variety of baked goods, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality, from croissants, to buns, cakes, breads, and cookies.

The ideal candidate will have high standards for baking and food preparation, attention to detail, and previous experience in a bakery setting with laminated pastry and Viennoiserie. This position is 3 days across Friday-Monday, with every other Sunday guaranteed off- no night shifts and no 4am starts!

Duties

Prepare and bake a range of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked products according to recipes and quality standards
Assist in the organisation and management of ingredients and baking supplies
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bakery work area in compliance with food safety regulations
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and presentation of baked goods
Follow all health and safety procedures to uphold hygiene standards within the kitchen
Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment as needed

Skills

Proven experience in pastry and viennoiserie
Ability to operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work in a kitchen as part of a team
Passion for baking and creating high-quality products,
Good time management skills to meet production deadlines
