Job Summary

Are you a tech-savvy sales professional or an experienced trade surveyor looking to electrify your career?

Join our growing renewable energy team as a Solar Sales Surveyor. In this dual-focused role, you will be the face of our company—visiting pre-qualified residential and commercial leads to conduct technical site assessments and design bespoke solar PV and battery storage solutions.

We don't believe in aggressive, high-pressure selling. Instead, we focus on consultative, data-driven advice that helps our customers save money and transition to green energy.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct Site Assessments: Visit prospective clients to evaluate roof suitability, orientation, shading, and existing electrical setups for solar PV and battery storage.

Consultative Sales: Understand customer energy goals, analyze their current electricity bills, and present tailored solar solutions that maximize their return on investment (ROI).

Technical Design: Use industry-leading solar design software to generate accurate system layouts, performance estimates, and financial projections.

Quote & Close: Generate comprehensive, transparent quotes and guide customers through the decision-making and signing process.

Seamless Handover: Complete accurate survey paperwork and photos to hand over to our office administration and installation teams for a smooth project kickoff.

Lead Management: Manage your own diary efficiently, following up on company-generated leads while identifying local networking or referral opportunities.

Requirements

Sales or Surveying Experience: Proven experience in a face-to-face sales, field sales, or surveying role (experience in solar is highly advantageous).

Technical Aptitude: Comfortable learning solar design software, understanding basic electrical setups, and explaining technical concepts simply to customers.

Customer-Centric Mindset: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building trust and delivering exceptional service.

Numerical & Literacy Skills: Ability to accurately calculate roof measurements, system sizes, and financial payback periods.

Self-Motivated: Highly organized, reliable, and capable of managing an independent daily travel schedule.

Driving Licence: A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
