Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service, creating high-quality beverages, and supporting various operational tasks within our café. This role offers an engaging environment where you can develop your skills in food preparation, serving, and maintaining high standards of food safety. A positive attitude and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential for success in this role.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Assist with food preparation tasks
Serve customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders accurately and handling transactions using the till system.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including cleaning equipment and utensils to meet food safety standards.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
Support team members with general duties such as setting up tables, clearing orders, and managing queues during busy periods.
Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold food safety standards at all times.
Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a barista or in a customer-facing food service role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Knowledge of food safety procedures is desirable.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanour to enhance customer experience.
Ability to work flexibly across various shifts, including weekends if required.
Organised with a keen eye for detail to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards.
