THE ROLE
Working for a world leading, global bicycle brand, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to develop their skills across customer service and logistics administration. We are looking for a motivated, organised and proactive individual to join our team. Working closely with the Internal Sales, Purchasing and Logistics Manager, you will provide essential support across a range of departmental functions.
The successful candidate will support with international imports and exports, assist with the daily dispatch of products to our retailers and consumers, and carry out a variety of administrative tasks. In addition, you will act as the primary point of contact for a small number of external customers, providing excellent customer service and high quality, organised administrative support to ensure the smooth running of their operations.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the day to day activities of the Internal Sales, Purchasing and Logistics Manager
- Work closely with our warehouse providers to ensure the smooth running of the operation
- Assist in coordinating domestic and international inbound and outbound logistics;
o Support the inbound delivery schedule
o Process shipping documents received from suppliers, which will include updating the internal system, the 3PL and customs agents
o Receipt deliveries into the internal system
o Process domestic and international dispatches
o Complete stock reconciliation and adjustments between the internal system and the warehouse providers
o Work with our carrier partners where needed to ensure sufficient capacity
- Assist with database administration and maintenance
- Provide WMS cover for our operation handling parts and accessories
- Any other tasks required to assist the department manager, which can cover a number of varied responsibilities
THE PERSON
The successful candidate will be a highly organised and motivated individual, with previous administrative experience. You will have the ability to work in a time-critical, and on occasion, pressured environment, while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
The role requires someone with a customer service focus to help provide day-to-day administration support for a small number of external customer accounts. This includes, but is not limited to, the processing of orders, dispatches, generating invoices and responding to customer inquiries.
Working in a small team, you will be a team player with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn new skills to support the wider business where required. You will be able to manage a varied and busy workload and must possess an excellent understanding of MS Excel and Outlook, along with a general understanding of various other IT functions.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent
- Minimum of two years administrative experience
- Experience of using Microsoft Outlook and Excel on a daily basis is essential
- Previous experience within a logistics, freight or supply chain environment would be advantageous

Salary: Competitive – Experience Depending
Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
