The Role

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for developing and qualifying new business opportunities by engaging with prospective customers through telephone outreach, market research, networking, social media, and business development activities.

Working from a central database, you will identify and contact target organisations, build relationships with decision-makers, gather valuable business intelligence, and generate qualified opportunities for our sales team.

You will play a vital role in supporting Dynamic Technology Group's growth strategy while establishing yourself as a trusted advisor to prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities

This is a proactive outbound new-business role based around a central database, with a goal of generating new opportunities. The ability to develop contacts and opportunities through phone calls will be a major part of the role. You will identify opportunities by contacting known targets, qualifying these prospects and collecting information that includes names, titles, addresses, phone numbers, email, opt-ins, related activity, budget and competitive information. This will be achieved by making outbound calls to obtain qualified leads, raising status to trusted advisor and developing opportunities for the sales team, assisting in generating new business opportunities.

The Business Development Executive will also undertake a variety of strategic activities as required, such as attending trade exhibitions, networking events, foot-canvassing, and social media.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in B2B telesales, lead generation, appointment setting, or business development (minimum 2 years experience).
Strong communication skills, with a professional and confident telephone manner.
Self-motivated with the resilience required for outbound sales activity.
Highly motivated, ambitious, and target-driven.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers.
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.

Experience within IT, Telecoms, Managed Services, or Print solutions would be advantageous, although training will be provided for the right candidate.
