Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar/Waiting Staff. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. The ideal candidates will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar is essential. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the food service industry while providing memorable experiences for our guests. Applicants MUST have experience and be able to work evenings and weekends on a rota basis! Full and part time positions available

Responsibilities

Taking orders accurately and serving food and drinks promptly to guests
Providing friendly and attentive guest service to ensure a positive dining experience
Handling cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the service area, including tables, counters, and bar stations
Assisting with food preparation and presentation as required, adhering to food safety standards
Upselling menu items to maximise sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety procedures
Managing guest enquiries and resolving any issues professionally and courteously
Supporting team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar is essential
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment
Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Experience in guest services, upselling, and working within a team environment is desirable
A positive attitude with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
