Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Staff to join our dynamic culinary team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a vibrant food service environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting meal and food preparation, ensuring high standards of food safety, and delivering exceptional service to our customers. Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant settings is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

Assist in food preparation and meal assembly in accordance with established recipes and standards
Support the kitchen team with general cooking tasks, including chopping, mixing, and plating dishes
Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed at all times
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
Help with serving food to customers in a courteous and professional manner
Organise ingredients and supplies efficiently to facilitate smooth kitchen operations
Support catering events by preparing ingredients and assisting with event setup as required

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Good organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary arts and food preparation
Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends or evenings if necessary
A positive attitude and strong teamwork ethic are essential for success in this role

Pay: £12.71-£17.26 per hour
