Full job description

We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic team players. If you are looking for a new challenge or perhaps your first job and would like to be part of one of Newcastle's busiest cafes then this could be the role for you. We have a strong reputation, providing good food, drinks and service. We serve breakfast from 7am and have a strong trade in the afternoon into early evening.

If you are passionate about service in a fun environment and have industry experience then this could be the opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

Greet and serve guests in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring a positive dining experience.
Maintain food safety standards while preparing and serving food and beverages.
Handle cash transactions accurately.
Upsell menu items and provide recommendations to enhance guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest inquiries or concerns.
Manage time effectively to balance multiple tasks during peak service hours.
Preparing and cooking food to menu specifications.
General cleaning and housekeeping.

Desirable Skills

Experience is not necessary and full training will be given
An outgoing personality with an interest in people
Strong serving skills with a focus on guest services
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
Experience in food preparation and kitchen operations
Excellent time management and the ability to handle busy shift

Job Types: Temporary, Permanent

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
