Full job description

About the Role

Our warehouse department are looking to fill a Warehouse Operative vacancy. This role is based in Balliol Business Park (NE12 8EW), working Mon - Fri 08:30 – 16:30 / 09:00 – 17:00, (37.5 hours per week). The purpose of this role is to ensure that the department continues to meet the demands of the business and the ethical and sustainability standards are met.

The key duties and responsibilities of this role are to:

Loading delivery vans daily for local customer deliveries
Picking and packing in the warehouse and preparing courier orders for multiple collections per day
Picking and preparing pallet orders for despatch
Goods in and goods out using ASC computer system and scanning guns
Delivery driving in and around the North East
Preparing delivery routes for drivers
Adhering to BRC warehousing standards
Regular stock taking
Using forklifts, ride-on pallet trucks, and pallet trucks to load and unload vehicles. All necessary training will be provided
Liasing with the administration team to ensure we provide an excellent level of customer service
General warehousing duties
Responding to incoming calls and emails
