Job Description

Due to workload we are looking for an additional time served sheet metal worker with experience of working with predominately stainless steel. No Agencies Please.

You will have:

Time served Sheet Metal Worker/Fabricator (4 year apprenticeship completed)
Experience of Welding Stainless Steel and Fabricating.
Ability to work from drawings.
Have experience in thin gauge materials
Be able to measure and cut materials accurately.
Experience in using guillotine and other metal fabrication machinery.
Work as part of a team.
Possess excellent communication skills and time management skills.
Ability to multitask.

Duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:

To carry out all welding operations and fabricate as required (stainless steel)
Grinding and polishing of work
Fabricating from drawings
Working on stainless steel products/sheet metal
Must be able to weld thin gauge material ranging from 1.2mm to 10mm
To be available for some evening and weekend work when the business requires with notice.
Driving Company Vehicles to and from Customers/ Suppliers
Maintaining a safe and tidy workplace and reporting any faults/hazards, in accordance with Company Health and Safety requirement

Food industry knowledge would be to an advantage but not essential as experience will be gained over time.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £16.00-£17.00 per hour
