Customer Service Agent

Location: Office-based, Uckfield, East Sussex (TN22 1QQ)
Pay: £13-£14 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time

BetAhoy is an exciting and growing online betting platform committed to delivering a first-class experience for our customers and we are looking for a friendly, motivated, and customer-focused Customer Service Agent to join our team in Uckfield.

The Role

As a Customer Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, assisting them via our LiveChat service and email. You'll play a key role in ensuring every customer receives a positive experience by resolving queries efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to customer enquiries via LiveChat and email in a timely and professional manner
Investigate customer issues and provide accurate solutions or escalate where appropriate
Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions using internal systems
Support customers with account, betting, and promotional queries
Work closely with colleagues in our Compliance, Trading and Marketing departments to continually improve customer satisfaction and service delivery
Follow up on customer enquiries where required to ensure successful resolution
Stay up to date with company policies, procedures, and Safer Gambling practices

What We're Looking For

Previous customer service experience, ideally within online support, gaming, betting, or a related industry
Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail
Experience in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Positive and team-oriented attitude
An interest in sports betting and online gaming would be advantageous

Requirements

Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to Uckfield (TN22 1QQ) before commencing employment
Ability to work full-time hours (40 hours per week), across 5 days between Monday and Sunday. Shifts are 8.5 hours in length (including a 30-minute unpaid break) and are scheduled between 8:00am and 8:00pm
Right to work in the United Kingdom
