Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Recreational Gymnastics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate young gymnasts. This role involves developing gymnastics skills, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a positive environment for all participants.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging gymnastics training sessions tailored to various skill levels.
Teach fundamental gymnastics techniques, including tumbling, balance beam, and vaulting.
Assess individual progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.
Ensure the safety of all participants by maintaining a safe training environment and adhering to safety protocols.
Organise and participate in internal competitions, and displays.
Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
Foster teamwork, discipline, and a love for gymnastics among students.

Qualifications

Required to have a minimum of a UKCC Level 1 in any of the following disciplines - General, Women's Artistic, Acrobatic or Pre school gymnastics.
Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, preferably in gymnastics or related disciplines.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children and young adults.
A passion for promoting physical fitness and healthy lifestyles.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not mandatory. Join us in shaping the future of young gymnasts while promoting a healthy lifestyle through sport!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

UKCC Level 1 in any gymnastics discipline (preferred)
