We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various phases of construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality at every stage. Your hands-on skills and proactive attitude will help bring building visions to life, contributing to the creation of durable, functional structures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across multiple trades while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Duties

Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers to ensure a secure work environment
Support skilled tradespeople by handling materials, tools, and equipment needed for roofing, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, and carpentry tasks
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to aid in construction activities such as plastering, fabrication, or masonry work
Help with the installation of roofing systems, plumbing fixtures, electrical wiring, and construction painting as directed by supervisors
Follow schematics and blueprints to assist with structural fabrication and assembly tasks
Perform general site maintenance including cleaning work areas and ensuring all safety protocols are followed
Contribute to the overall progress of projects by completing assigned tasks promptly and accurately

Experience

Previous experience working on construction sites or in related roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques is highly desirable
Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, masonry, or carpentry will be considered an asset
Ability to read schematics or blueprints is advantageous but not required
Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions are essential
Commitment to safety practices and teamwork is vital for success in this role
