Job Summary

Join our vibrant team as a Bar Staff member and bring energy, enthusiasm, and excellent service to our lively venue. In this role, you'll be the heartbeat of the bar experience, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests while expertly serving drinks and maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will ensure every guest leaves with a memorable experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, with precision and flair
Take orders from guests promptly and accurately, ensuring excellent customer service at all times
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
Check IDs to verify legal drinking age and adhere to responsible serving practices
Manage cash register transactions efficiently, handling payments and giving correct change using basic math skills
Follow food safety protocols to ensure all drinks are prepared in a hygienic manner
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods and assist in setting up or closing down the bar as needed

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments, with a strong understanding of customer service principles
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving regulations
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and team members effectively
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Familiarity with serving techniques and beverage presentation is a plus
