Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pizza Topper to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a keen eye for presentation, ensuring each pizza is topped to perfection. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop culinary skills within a fast-paced restaurant environment, contributing to delivering high-quality dining experiences for our customers.

Duties

Apply toppings to pizzas according to specified recipes and customer preferences
Ensure toppings are evenly distributed and aesthetically appealing
Assist in preparing ingredients for pizza toppings, including slicing and organising fresh produce
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work station in compliance with food safety standards
Support the kitchen team during busy periods, assisting with meal preparation as needed
Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations diligently to ensure customer safety and satisfaction
Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety standards and practices within a restaurant setting
Experience in culinary or meal preparation roles, particularly within a fast-paced environment, is advantageous
Good organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality presentation of pizzas
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as required
