Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves delivering exceptional guest services, ensuring smooth restaurant and bar operations, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail to uphold our high standards of service. Previous experience in restaurant or catering environments is essential although full training will be provided. This position offers an engaging work environment where you can develop your skills in food service and guest relations.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel welcomed throughout their visit
Take accurate orders and serve food and beverages efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system
Provide information about menu items, specials, and dietary options to guests
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
Assist with setting up and clearing tables promptly to ensure a smooth flow of service
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly
Address guest queries or concerns professionally to ensure satisfaction

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is essential; training will be provided for suitable candidate
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
