Gym Supervisor

About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Gym Supervisor to lead the daily operations, sales performance, marketing activity, and growth of our PT-only private training studio.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on driving sales, generating leads, increasing revenue, and delivering an exceptional client experience. You will play a key role in growing the business while supporting and developing the personal training team.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Leadership

Oversee the day-to-day running of the studio
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and customer service
Manage scheduling, trainer utilisation, and operational efficiency
Support and motivate the PT team to achieve business goals

Sales & Business Development

Manage all sales enquiries from initial contact through to conversion
Conduct consultations and confidently sell personal training packages
Generate new business opportunities and increase studio revenue
Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs
Improve client retention, referrals, and overall member engagement

Marketing & Social Media

Manage and grow the studio's social media presence
Create engaging content to promote services, client success stories, and brand awareness
Plan and deliver marketing campaigns that generate leads and enquiries
Monitor performance metrics and identify growth opportunities

Client Experience

Deliver an exceptional customer journey from enquiry to ongoing membership
Build strong relationships with clients to encourage retention and referrals
Act as the main point of contact for client feedback and support

Compliance & Health & Safety

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
Maintain equipment and facility standards
Complete incident reporting and risk assessments where required

About You

You are an energetic, commercially minded fitness professional who understands that successful clubs are built on strong sales, excellent service, effective marketing, and operational excellence.

Essential Requirements

Previous experience in a gym, fitness studio, or boutique fitness management role
Proven sales experience with a track record of achieving targets
Experience converting leads into paying clients and growing revenue
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Experience managing business social media accounts
Ability to work independently and take ownership of results

Desirable

Level 3 Personal Training Qualification
Experience within a PT-only or boutique fitness environment
First Aid Qualification
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
