Success Local is a growing digital marketing group helping businesses improve their online visibility, attract the right customers and achieve measurable growth.
Our core agency, Success Local, works with a broad range of SMEs across different sectors, delivering services including SEO, Google Ads, social media advertising, reporting and website support. Alongside this, we are developing specialist sister brands, including CliniqCraft, which focuses on supporting aesthetics clinics, with further niche brands planned for the future.
As our group grows, we are looking for a motivated Digital Account Executive to join the team and support the delivery of high-quality digital marketing work across a varied client base. Overview of the role
The Digital Account Executive plays a key role in delivering high-quality, results-driven marketing campaigns that meet client objectives and performance targets. Combining strong time management skills with digital marketing know-how, this role ensures campaigns are executed efficiently, on time, and to a consistently high standard across multiple channels. The Digital Account Executive supports clear, proactive client communication - providing updates, insights, and recommendations to Account Managers that further client relationships. This role is a critical executive function that both creates and delivers on high-impact strategies that help clients reach their goals.
1. Campaign Delivery
Definition: Owns the delivery and execution of SEO, PPC and social media ads campaigns, ensuring work is completed to a high standard, on time, and aligned with the client’s strategy and KPIs.
Looks like in practice:
- Plans, builds, and optimises multi-channel marketing campaigns (e.g., SEO, PPC and social).
- Monitors campaign performance, proactively identifies issues or opportunities, and adjusts tactics accordingly.
- Coordinates with internal specialists (design, dev, account managers) to ensure cohesive execution.
- Delivers all monthly recurring work as per client retainers or project scopes.
- Ensures campaign reporting and analysis are completed accurately and on schedule.
2. Supporting Client Communication
Definition: Supports strong client relationships by contributing to clear, proactive, and value-driven communication that supports retention and growth.
Looks like in practice:
- Attends and contributes to client meetings, both virtual and in-person.
- Communicates progress, insights, and recommendations confidently and transparently.
- Responds to client queries in a timely, helpful, and strategic manner.
- Works alongside Account Managers to ensure clients feel heard, informed, and supported.
- Escalates issues early and participates in resolution plans.
3. Client Strategy
Translates each client’s commercial objectives into a measurable, data-led digital marketing strategy that drives growth and delivers tangible business outcomes. Able to create tailored, flexible strategies across all services offered.

- Analyses client objectives, market position, competitors, and performance data.
- Develops and documents digital strategies across relevant channels.
- Identifies and presents cross-sell or upsell opportunities based on client goals and data insights.
- Reviews strategy performance regularly, adapting to changing client needs and market conditions.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure the strategy is fully integrated.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 1–2+ years’ experience in a digital marketing, account management, or campaign delivery role, either within an agency or in-house marketing team.
- Good understanding of SEO, PPC, paid social, email marketing, and wider digital marketing channels, with hands-on experience supporting campaign delivery.
- Experience assisting with the planning, execution, monitoring, and optimisation of digital marketing campaigns to support client or business objectives.
- Comfortable working with digital marketing performance metrics and reporting tools, including Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Google Search Console, and platform-specific dashboards.
- Ability to review campaign data, identify key insights, and contribute recommendations to improve performance.
- Experience supporting multiple client accounts, campaigns, or projects at the same time, with strong organisational skills and attention to deadlines.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Comfortable preparing reports, updates, and performance summaries, with some experience presenting findings or recommendations to clients or colleagues.
- Working knowledge of key tools and platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs, CRM systems, and project management tools.
- Collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively alongside content, design, development, paid media, SEO, and account management teams.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work across reports, campaign tasks, and client communications.
- Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, Google Analytics, or other digital marketing certifications are beneficial but not essential.
