Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily administrative tasks, maintaining effective communication channels, and supporting the overall efficiency of our office operations. The Ideal candidate would have some experience of dealing with Solar PV paperwork/MCS or be willing to upskill themselves in this area and take ownership of the administrative tasks involved. This is not essential to any interested candidates and a willingness to learn is as equally valuable.

Responsibilities

Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence via email, phone, and postal services with professional phone etiquette
Organising and maintaining physical and digital filing systems to ensure easy retrieval of documents
Performing data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office programmes, Google, Easy MCS
Assisting with scheduling appointments, meetings, and other organisational activities
Preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation as required
Handling administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and maintaining office supplies
Supporting team members with clerical tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
Responding promptly to internal and external enquiries in a courteous manner

Skills

Proven office experience with strong organisational abilities
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent typing speed and data entry skills with high accuracy
Strong administrative experience with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Exceptional organisational skills to prioritise workload effectively
Good phone etiquette and communication skills for liaising with clients and colleagues
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
Familiarity with clerical procedures and office management systems
