Full job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Team Leader to provide operational management and leadership to the Healthy Child Service 0-19 team within the North & East Collaborative Locality on a secondment/fixed term (up until the end of September 2027).

You will be expected to work closely with the Head of Locality and the collaborative leadership team to ensure the delivery of a high quality, efficient and effective service, meeting all objectives and key performance indicators.

You will also be expected to liaise with partner agencies and stakeholders to develop and implement robust processes between the collaborative locality team, the Single Point of Access, and partner organisations to ensure streamlined service delivery.

Responsible for the day to day development, management and leadership of their 0-19 integrated teams and management and leadership to the teams’ working practices.

Commitment to supporting collaborative working between the HCS Single Point of Access and the localities.

Collaborative locality management and leadership; in line with NCYPS objectives, reflecting East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust corporate and strategic objectives.

Ensure that collaborative locality team working and staff management is undertaken in line with Trust values. Develop morale and motivation through effective personal leadership, ensuring views and decisions are communicated across the management and service structure.

Implement effective communication strategies to promote staff involvement.

In conjunction with the Head of Locality, clinical colleagues and other stakeholders implement new ways of working at a team level, taking appropriate advice from corporate colleagues. This might include skill-mix reviews and other staffing strategies.

Provide all staff with appropriate leadership, support and opportunities for training to undertake their jobs satisfactorily, including mandatory training.

Undertake agreed countywide leadership and support, develop and implement any specific projects as part of service design.

Ensure that all staff within the team are supported to use information systems for data collection, that deadlines are met for submitting data and that data is analysed to help allocate work and maximise productivity.

Accountable for locality profiles, as agreed with the Head of Locality; and to develop and manage day to day practice agreements.

Carry out all duties to the highest possible standard.
