Overview
We are seeking a skilled Domestic Electrician to join our team, providing essential electrical services for residential properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for electrical work and customer service, looking to contribute to high-quality domestic electrical solutions.

Duties

Installing new electrical systems and components in residential properties
Conducting routine maintenance and inspections of existing electrical installations
Troubleshooting electrical faults and performing repairs efficiently
Upgrading outdated wiring and electrical panels to meet current safety standards
Installing CCTV systems and other security-related electrical equipment
Providing technical support and guidance to clients regarding electrical systems
Ensuring all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations
Maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used
Communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs and explain technical issues clearly

Requirements

Proven experience as a Domestic Electrician or similar role within residential settings
Valid driving licence with a clean driving record
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
Experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of domestic electrical systems
Familiarity with CCTV installation and basic IT networking related to security systems is desirable
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
Customer service orientation with a professional attitude towards client interactions
Ability to work independently, organise tasks efficiently, and prioritise workload effectively

Pay: £200.00-£280.00 per hour
