Full job description

We are expanding our current machine team and are seeking to recruit a full time permanent experienced Woodworking Machinist.

You will work as part of a team and rotate across several wood working machines to include, Beam Saw, Edge Bander, Heated Press, 3 Axis, 5 Axis CNC etc. ensuring a timely output required for production.
Working in an organised manner to ensure tasks are completed efficiently, to the highest of standards and within the necessary time frame.
Ensuring safe operation of all necessary machinery.
Work efficiently to minimise waste of raw materials and in accordance with our LEAN processes.

Essential Criteria:

A minimum of 6 months experience within a similar environment - full training will be provided.
An understanding of working drawings/plans and ability to follow instructions and the correct process.
Capable of working within a team.
Willingness to work additional hours as required.

Typical hours of work are:

4 days per week: Monday - Thursday 06:00am - 6:00pm with option for overtime on a Friday.
