Refuge Domestic Abuse Caseworker - Norwich

37hrs - Full Time Fixed Term Contract until March 2029

£25,803

Job Purpose:

To provide an effective, supportive and confidential service for women and children requiring emergency temporary safe accommodation.
To provide crisis management, support and guidance to women who have experienced domestic abuse
To ensure that the safe accommodation operational policies procedures are implemented and adhered to.
To ensure all statistical data is collated and maintained for stakeholders and funding bodies.
To support the Service Co-ordinator in developing the safe accommodation service to deliver the best possible outcomes for safe accommodation residents.
To participate in the out of hours on-call system for all Leeway safe accommodation
Hours of work are on a rota basis between 9.30am-6.30pm Monday - Friday & Saturday 9.30am-130pm

Essential Requirements:

Relevant qualification or two years’ experience of working with women and children who are experiencing domestic abuse, for a statutory or voluntary agency.
Experience of safeguarding vulnerable adults and children.
The Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to use Microsoft office, database systems case management and report writing.
To be flexible

Desirable Requirements: Experience in working in a residential setting.
