Overview

Join our team as a Sushi Chef and bring authentic Japanese cuisine to life with precision, creativity and passion! Shiki is a Japanese family owned restaurant est 2004.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes.
Maintain the highest standards of freshness, quality, and safety in all ingredients used.
Follow recipes and plating guidelines.
Manage ingredient inventory, monitor stock levels.
Collaborate with other staff to ensure smooth workflow.
Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations at all times.

Skills

Proven experience as a Sushi Chef within a fast-paced restaurant.
Deep knowledge of sushi-making techniques, knife skills, and ingredient handling.
Strong understanding of food safety standards and sanitation procedures.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Creativity in presenting dishes.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
