Full job description

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our small, friendly team at our Nottingham office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bookeeper to become part of a supportive accountancy practice, working with a varied portfolio of clients across a range of industries. You'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality service while building strong relationships with clients in a welcoming and collaborative working environment.

This is a full-time, office-based position offering a varied role within a supportive working environment.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

Managing the Bookeeping for a portfolio of clients across a range of industries.

Accounts preparation and tax work.
Completing and submitting VAT returns.
Preparing and submitting CIS returns.
Liaising directly with clients to answer queries and provide ongoing support.
Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
Building strong, long-term client relationships by delivering a proactive and professional service.

The Ideal Candidate

Previous Bookeeping experience.
Good knowledge of Bookeeping and VAT.
Strong communication and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Friday: 9:00am – 4:00pm
