Job Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pharmacy Dispenser, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care through accurate medication dispensing and efficient pharmacy operations. Duties

Accurately dispense prescribed medications in accordance with doctor’s instructions and pharmacy protocols
Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and packaging to ensure safety and compliance
Provide clear guidance to patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and storage instructions
Maintain meticulous records of dispensed medications, inventory levels, and patient interactions
Support medication administration processes by verifying prescriptions and ensuring proper documentation
Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions or address medication-related questions
Ensure the pharmacy environment remains organized, clean, and compliant with health regulations

Requirements

Proven experience as a pharmacy technician or dispenser within a healthcare setting. At least two years.
Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy software systems
Excellent attention to detail to prevent errors in dispensing and recordkeeping
Exceptional patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically
Ability to follow strict safety protocols and maintain confidentiality at all times
Certification or licensure as required by local health authorities or pharmacy boards is preferred
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
