As an Information Analyst in Policy, Insight & Performance, you will turn complex data into clear insight that directly improves outcomes and supports evidence-based decision making across the services we work with. The data we provide helps to shape how we plan, deliver and evaluate our services.

The Opportunity
In the role of Information Analyst, here’s an example of what you’ll be doing to make an impact:
- Creating reports using relevant business intelligence tools such as SQL and Power BI to deliver insight to the services we support.
- Compiling data and evidence for our statutory requirements, inspections & freedom of information requests.
- Providing clear analysis to aid in decision-making.
- Working to improve data quality standards and responsibilities.
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have...
- Experience of using IT systems and tools relevant to data and information work.
- Experience that demonstrates understanding of our business, service planning and how data supports decision making.
- The ability to analyse information, draw conclusions and present findings clearly to different audiences.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information in a clear and accessible way.
- The ability to plan and organise your own workload to meet deadlines and service priorities.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build effective working relationships.
- An understanding of, and commitment to, equality, diversity and inclusion and how this applies to the role of an Information Analyst.
- A willingness to develop your skills and knowledge, including learning new systems and approaches to data and analysis.
