Title: Food Service Assistant

Location: Nottingham

Temporary 3 month position

Part time position - minimum 12 hours a week, more available

Morning Shifts 8:45am - 12:45pm

Evening Shifts 4pm - 8pm

Monday to Saturday

Salary: £12.71 an hour

Job Description

Baxterstorey is seeking a friendly and efficient Hospitality Assistants to join our team in Nottingham, United Kingdom. In this role, you will support our operations by assisting with various tasks in our food service environment.

Provide excellent customer service to guests and colleagues
Assist with food preparation and presentation, ensuring high standards of hygiene and quality
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the dining and kitchen areas
Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels
Support the team during peak hours and special events
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Perform additional duties as assigned by the management team

Qualifications

Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and supportive demeanour
Basic knowledge of food handling and hygiene practices
Strong time keeping abilities and capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Previous experience in hospitality or food service is desirable
Food hygiene certificate is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings as required
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
