Job Title: Goods In Operative

Location: Salford
Salary: £26,422.50 per annum

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 06.00 – 14.00

Are you an organised and detail-focused warehouse professional looking to join a fast-paced distribution environment? We're looking for a Goods In Operative to become a key member of our warehouse team in Salford.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy operation where accuracy, teamwork and quality are at the heart of everything we do. If you enjoy working in a structured environment and take pride in getting things right first time, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of the Goods In team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring incoming pharmaceutical products are received, checked and processed accurately and safely. Your responsibilities will include:

Receiving and recording deliveries in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Breaking down deliveries into individual product lines ready for processing.
Checking deliveries for damage, shortages, excess stock and expiry dates.
Creating and maintaining accurate documentation and system records.
Producing carton identification labels and ensuring stock is correctly quarantined where required.
Identifying and reporting any licensing or delivery discrepancies.
Supporting internal quality audits and maintaining compliance standards.
Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure an efficient flow of goods through the warehouse.

What We're Looking For

Experienced within a warehouse or Goods In environment (pharmaceutical experience is advantageous).
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Comfortable working with paperwork and computer systems.
A strong team player with good communication skills.
Able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive, reliable and committed to maintaining high quality standards.
Committed to following Health & Safety procedures at all times.
