Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Room Attendant/Housekeeping professional to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. Previous experience in hotel or janitorial services is preferred, and a friendly, professional attitude is essential to deliver exceptional service.

Duties

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies.
Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms.
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning.
Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used efficiently and stored properly.
Follow health and safety procedures to guarantee a safe environment for guests and staff.
Assist with laundry duties as required, including handling linen and towels.
Respond promptly to guest requests or special requirements with professionalism and courtesy.

Requirements

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is advantageous.
Knowledge of hospitality standards and procedures is desirable.
Strong attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
