Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Leader to oversee daily operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in supervising teams across retail or sales environments. This role offers an opportunity to lead, motivate, and develop a team while ensuring operational excellence and delivering outstanding customer service. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with leadership experience who thrive in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team to achieve sales targets and operational goals effectively.
Supervise daily activities, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Provide coaching, training, and support to team members to optimise performance.
Organise merchandising displays to maximise visual appeal and sales potential.
Maintain excellent communication with team members, management, and customers through professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
Oversee stock levels, organise inventories, and coordinate replenishment activities.
Monitor team adherence to company policies, health and safety regulations, and organisational procedures.
Assist in resolving customer queries or complaints promptly and professionally.
Support recruitment processes by participating in interviews and onboarding new staff members.
Prepare reports on team performance, sales figures, and operational issues for senior management.

Qualifications

Proven management or supervisory experience within retail or sales environments.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous.
Experience in merchandising, sales management, or retail management is preferred.
Demonstrated time management skills with the capacity to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Administrative experience including report writing, scheduling, and record keeping.
Professional phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously at all times.
