Job Title: Housekeeping Assistant

Salary*: £12.86ph* plus incentives

Hours: Full Time Permanent Contract - 8am to 4pm (flexibility considered), 3-4 shifts per week, including alternative weekends

Location: Avenue House Nursing and Care Home, Rushden, NN10 0SN

About Avenue House Nursing and Care Home

Avenue House is located just outside Rushden. The home's architecture is modern regency style, which provides the homeliness that Jasmine seeks for its homes, whilst providing modern living accommodation. The home provides personal, nursing and dementia care for 48 residents.

Role Responsibilities for Housekeeping Assistant:

As a Housekeeping Assistant you will joining our team to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness in bedrooms and public areas within the Home. You will also be responsible for the wash, dry, iron and put away or laundry, including returning clothing to resident's bedrooms.
You will keep all mandatory training up to date and complete additional training as required, including Infection Control, Manual Handling and Health & Safety
Support our Team Members in the smooth running of housekeeping shifts.
Ensure the Housekeeper is kept fully informed of all major developments (i.e. team issues, complaints, inspections) always.
To be aware of Jasmine Healthcare's philosophy and to contribute ideas to improve the standard of care provided.

Role Requirements as a Housekeeping Assistant:

Able to clean to a high standard
Willingness to go above and beyond to meet the needs of our residents
Good time management skills
Flexibility with working hours
Good written and oral communication skills
A positive and enthusiastic outlook
A good reason or experience that has drawn you to working in a care setting
Live within 20 minutes of the Home
