Full job description

A family owned bakery business is in need of a Bakery Assistant to join her growing business, the role will suit a candidate with a "Can-Do" attitude and ready to grow his/her career to the next level.

The Production Process involves Oven / Baking / Mixing / Bagging / Slicing.

To be considered for this role candidates must be flexible within reason, reliable and available for an immediate start when required. Candidates should command a basic to good level of English speaking, reading and writing.

Position Requirements (Skills / Experience)

Bakery experience preferred- but not a necessity
Industrial Oven / Baking / Mixing experience preferred – however full training can be provided

The role involves the following physical requirements on a daily basis:

Pushing, pulling and standing
Manual dexterity in both hands and wrists

Responsibilities

Assist in the production of baked goods in accordance with recipes and quality standards.
Adhere to food safety regulations, including HACCP guidelines, to ensure product safety.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Follow instructions execute baking tasks accurately.

Job Types: Fixed term contract, Temp to perm

Contract length: 6 months
