You’ll join OCU’s Regulated Power division leading the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects that are critical to the UK’s electricity network and wider energy transition. Working across complex transmission and distribution programmes, you’ll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of major projects within a growing organisation, where you’ll influence delivery at scale, lead high-performing teams and contribute to infrastructure that powers homes, businesses and communities.
You’ll lead projects from initial planning through to successful completion, taking full responsibility for programme, budget, resources and overall delivery performance. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you’ll ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed scope, timelines and quality expectations.
You’ll act as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors and wider stakeholders, building strong relationships and maintaining clear, consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle. Alongside this, you’ll lead multidisciplinary project teams, providing direction, support and leadership to drive performance and create a collaborative working environment.
You’ll oversee resource planning and allocation, ensuring projects are appropriately staffed and supported while maximising efficiency. A key part of your role will be identifying and managing risks, developing mitigation strategies and ensuring any issues are addressed proactively to maintain delivery.
You’ll also ensure robust quality assurance processes are in place, maintaining high standards across all project outputs and ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry best practice. In addition, you’ll take responsibility for financial management, including budgets, forecasting, cost control and reporting, ensuring projects remain commercially successful.
