Full job description

We are seeking an organised and proactive HR Administrator to support the day-to-day delivery of HR services. This varied role provides administrative support across recruitment, employee records, process improvement and HR projects, ensuring an efficient and professional service.

The position is set to commence ASAP and will be part time 3 days per week for an initial duration of 12 weeks with a pay rate of £16.92 per hour + holiday pay

Key Duties:

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team across a range of HR activities
Manage the HR inbox, prioritising and responding to enquiries where appropriate
Maintain accurate HR records, files, trackers and documentation
Support recruitment administration and onboarding activities as required
Assist with reviewing HR processes, policies and guidance documents
Gather and collate information to support fact-finding and process reviews
Identify gaps or inconsistencies in existing processes and documentation
Prepare process notes, checklists, templates and guidance for managers and staff
Update and maintain SharePoint pages and HR resources
Provide administrative support for HR projects and additional tasks as required

Selection Criteria:

Previous administrative experience, ideally within an HR or people-focused environment
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Good written and verbal communication skills
Confident using Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Comfortable researching information and producing clear, accurate documentation
Able to work independently while recognising when guidance is needed
Flexible approach with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
