Full job description

Part-Time Freelance Personal Assistant — Oxford (5 hours/week)

I'm a healthcare-technology consultant and founder based in the Oxford area, looking for a reliable, organised freelance assistant to take a handful of recurring administrative tasks off my plate each week.

This is a small, steady role — roughly 5 hours per week — suited to someone who already does this kind of work and wants to add a dependable client.

What you'd do:

A weekly meet to run through my diary, priorities, check I'm on track and focused

Book in meetings, and resolve diary conflicts

Book travel / hotels / appointments

Occasional ad-hoc data entry, excel based tracking etc

And then on top of that, we can approach new tasks that you might identify or vice versa on a pragmatic agreement basis - there will be more to do if you're interested and it adds value.

What I'm looking for:

A safe pair of hands — you do what you say, when you say, without chasing

Strong organisation and attention to detail

Clear, prompt communication - and you ask for help or clarification when you need to

Comfort working independently with minimal supervision

Discretion — some of what you'll see is commercially or potentially sensitive about people or healthcare situations we work with, and confidentiality is important.

Practicalities:

Mostly remote, with Oxfordshire-based professionals preferred so occasional in-person tasks or meetings are possible

Flexible on when the hours fall, within reason

Happy to discuss temporary staff contract vs free agent set ups

Rate: [£20/hour + open to those seeking permanent staff status longer term], paid monthly

Starting with a paid trial period of 2 weeks before committing
