Full job description

Job Overview
Good remuneration for the right person, located at Dartington, Totnes, Chartered surveyor's office is seeking a reliable and organised Part Time Administration Assistant mornings 8/12 hours a week. Option to progress in property for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will assist with various administrative tasks, to include data entry into Re Leased software for property management (Very similar to Xero) and dealing with running the office, responding to emails, dealing with enquiries and typing up reports. There will be some off site work meeting contractors, showing people around property etc.

Duties

Maintenance of Re Leased Lettings management software
Maintenance of day-to-day accounts on Xero for the business
Pay roll to include two employees
Report writing using audio equipment
Invoicing and payment of invoices as required
Preparation of service charge invoices
Dealing with all enquiries relating to property management.
Preparing excel spreadsheets of statutory certification and other inspections of properties as required
Providing instructions to contractors for work undertaken
Site meetings with contractors and tenants
Maintaining a record of your daily activities in a diary
Running the office in my absence

Qualifications

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with Xero (or QuickBooks or similar accounting software) is essential.
Excellent typing speed and accuracy for data entry tasks
Good communication skills with professional phone etiquette
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Consistent employment record to present day
Previous employer reference
Clean Driving license
