Full job description

Malcolm Barnecutt Bakeries employ over 270 employees in locations across Cornwall and Devon and are accredited with being one of the top 150 employers in Cornwall.

We are recruiting for a Sandwich Unit Team Member to join our team in Bodmin. This is a busy role working Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays, 3.15am start to finish approx. 40 hours per week. Overtime is also available during busy times.

IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE!

Daily duties will include the following:

Working as part of a team making sandwiches, rolls and paninis
Preparation of sandwich fillings – making coronation chicken, grating cheese etc
Covering all aspects of food preparation for shops
Compliance with food hygiene and quality standards at all times
Keeping production areas clean with adherence to cleanliness standards

As a person you will require the following qualities:

Good communication skills, with a good level of spoken English
Be reliable and punctual
Be flexible with shifts to help provide cover during holidays and sickness
Ability to work well in a team
Enthusiastic and hardworking
Previous food preparation experience desirable but not essential.

An hourly shift rate increase of 20% applies to all hours worked between 3am and 5am
