Full job description

We are looking for an Experienced, proactive and positive Digital Marketing Specialist to work 'in-house' assisting with progressing our successful and long established FCA regulated and Award Winning company.

You will play a major role in our marketing improving our search visibility, managing and optimising our websites as well as managing social media channels. In addition, you will also assist with identifying areas where AI can be implemented to assist with New Business and Marketing activities.

You will also need to learn about our sector and immerse yourself in our project, working in tangent with our New Business Department. A positive 'Can Do' attitude is essential.

A diligent, reliable and committed individual is required with a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed. Previous experience of working in a SME environment and working with a CRM system would be ideal.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for digital marketing and a keen eye for detail to contribute to our continued growth and be part of a successful family orientated company.

Must have experience of the key responsibilities and be able to demonstrate a working knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and increase website traffic.
Manage, update, and develop WordPress websites to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
Oversee and maintain social media platforms, ensuring consistent and effective brand messaging.
Manage Google Business Profiles including regular updates and developments.
Utilise and interpret data from digital marketing tools such as SEMrush, ensuring Technical SEO requirements are met inline with Googles best practices.
Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and on-page/off-page optimization.
Monitor and report on digital marketing performance, providing insights and recommendations.
Assist with general office IT matters when required, offering support on software and systems.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Executive or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, including technical SEO, Local SEO, content optimisation, and link-building strategies.
Proficiency in managing WordPress websites, including content updates and basic troubleshooting.
Experience with digital marketing tools such as SEMrush, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, and Google Ads.
Familiarity with managing social media accounts and creating engaging content for blog posts etc
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies.
Working knowledge of AI Tools and how to implement their use.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Basic knowledge of IT support and willingness to assist with general office technology matters.

Desirable Skills:

Knowledge of HTML/CSS for minor website adjustments.
Experience in a regulated industry, particularly within financial services.
Understanding of local SEO strategies and best practices.
Working knowledge of Elementor
Previous experience of CRM software
